Just a thought, but Gunboards and Survivialist Forum is not online right now.

Widespread hacking attempt on certain types of forums?

Maybe spotter98 really was onto something .....

I sent a message to the contact listing, but haven't received an answer yet. How can I quickly unregister from this site. I would like a complete erasure, like I was never here. Thanks.
That is very bad news. I noticed something last night and this morning: You have a Major Problem. I'm not talking about some computer geek with a virus, either. I want out before the shitstorm hits. So this is my last post. Good Luck.

Clearly, in order to more effectively combat this new type of attack, we must send Streaker into the future. The collective willpower and synchronised singing of Let It Go by all of the people here (Yes, GBO and Futz are included) is going to allow this to happen.

What three items will we send with him into this apocalyptic future, to ensure the survival of our species and forum? This is serious shit, people. Lives are at stake.

    Item 1: a towel.

A towel, [The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy] says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-boggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.”
