Be aware that the approval times are increasing every day because of the number of people doing Form 1's and Form 4's due to the change in the way trusts are going to be handled. I talked to the NFA branch (where the examiners are) and right now Form 1 and 4 approvals are taking 5 to 6 months. Form 3's for dealers are now taking 6-8 weeks. I have several Form 4's that were submitted 3/1/16 and haven't even been entered into the system yet.

Now, back to the new regs for trusts, there is a good possibility that come July, the new reg will not be implemented, the implementation may be postponed a while. Some suppressor distributors who have good inside info say that the ATF is probably going to look at the reg again to see if that really is the way they want to go. Apparently they have been getting a lot of heat from manufacturers and distributors that may be changing their (ATF's) thinking. We can only hope.

I got 2 form 4's on trust submitted 1/14/16 and 1/22/16, hopefully see them some time in June.
