    Default "Guns Save Lives"

So I just woke up from a nap and had a thought and figured I'd ramble a bit on here...
Every time a gun related crime is committed, anti gunners start endlessly blaming guns for the crime. Their biggest argument is that guns kill people, that guns cause crime.
Then come the pro gunners, saying that guns don't cause crime, guns are inanimate objects that cannot take blame for something a human chose to do. The people kill people, the guns don't.
Here's what i noticed... Gun advocates will take blame off of the gun, it cannot be blamed for bad. Then at the same time a large percentage of us preach that guns stop crime, guns save lives. We blame guns for the good.

How can the same people that tell others that a gun cannot be blamed for crime then blame guns for stopping crime?

Anyway, like I said, just a rambling thought of mine. I know there are some who do not fit this, but there are many who do.

Blaming the gun for crime instead of the criminal is one thing. Upholding a natural right of a human being to USE a gun to protect himself, and family is another. The first demonizes the tool to keep it only from the law abiding, while the latter promotes a right, and the action of the citizen to protect themselves.

You got me thinking now..How about this.

Guns help criminals commit crimes, but also used to help stop crimes. It is up to the person who has it to decide what to do with it.
I need a better signature than this...

I agree, this is the correct argument. I'm just saying that a lot of gun owners use a contradicting argument without even thinking.

The most dangerous place in America is a "gun free" zone.
