INDOOR .22LR Grocery Matches

Grocery matches are indoor .22 rimfire rifle matches fired at 50 ft. Match fee is $10 for 20 rounds. There are 12 prizes per round. Cake and meat "bonus rounds" are 50 cents per target.

The club will open at 6 PM for practice and the match begins at 7 PM. Matches are held every Saturday night, starting January 3rd 2015 and continuing until the last Saturday of March 2015.

We will be doing a season prize again for the 2015 season. This year's prize is a case of CCI Standard Velocity .22LR ammo. Each week, one of the prize levels will be tickets for the drawing. There will be 20 tickets each week. The ticket prize "slot" will be different each week, from 1st place on the board down to 12th place.

Match day bump. I'm including a picture of one of the targets used. It was a lucky shot that got me a first place prize. There's also a quarter in the corner to help give an idea of size.

This week I saw an article saying the local homeless shelter was having financial troubles and was close to closing. We decided to set out a box asking for donations of food from anyone who was willing to share their winnings. We would like to thank those who donated food and/or cash. We intend to continue to accept donations each week for the remainder of the season.

Just wanted to remind everyone of the match tomorrow. Also, if anyone wants to make a donation for the local shelter, feel free to stop by and drop it off. Someone will be at the club from 6:00 PM until at least 9:30 PM.
