Re: Mountain Lion sighting
And you are lucky to be living there. Many fond memories of the annual camping trips with the now grown and moved away kids. And the deer camp with the now deceased camp members. Could not convince the Mrs to move there.
Surprised me, however, that our camp neighbor started buying properties and listed for short term rental for the "star-gazers". Almost a full time job for him now. Who would have thought....

Re: Mountain Lion sighting
Ten-15 years ago I was mowing the lawn outside our kitchen, there was one laying next to my shed watching me, I made one more pass to the kitchen steps and went inside. Called the game people, was told there were no mountain lions in PA, I asked, so if I shoot it it's not protected is it', they were at my house in 20 min with one of those trailers they use for bear, musta been a slow day. Only thing left were tracks. Never saw one again. We got a lot of foxes and coyotes though.

Re: Mountain Lion sighting
A couple years ago a couple trappers found a big cayman (Spelling?) up around Pecks Pond. I guess anything is possible.

Re: Mountain Lion sighting
Seems to me if we had mountain lions in PA, we'd know it.
