SBS, AOW & Prohibited Offensive Weapon
OK.... So I have an legal SBR which I know I can conceal with a License because it's considered a firearm in PA.
Can I do the same with an taxed SBS?
Reading 18 Pa.C.S. § 908: Prohibited offensive weapons, a sawed off shotgun is a prohibited offensive weapon. Note that a SBR is not mentioned here.
Under 18 Pa.C.S. § 6102: Definitions, a firearm is any shotgun with a barrel length less than 18 inches.
Which is it- A firearm or a prohibited Offensive weapon?
How does AOW come into play? With great power comes great responsibility....
