Bucks county Fish and game Assoc.
Member of the above club here, wondering what sort of matches folks want to see at ranges these days. We are looking for match ideas of the coming year. We currently run 100 yard NMC rifle matches and Swiss rifle qualification shoots (@ 91.4 Meters)
We have a covered 100 yard, 50 yard, 25 yard ranges, located right outside of Doylestown, Doylestown Township, Bucks County, PA.
Club layout is not exactly ideal for three gun matches but we have considered that. That said in terms of traditional marksmanship club level competitive programs, what are folks in the Bucks county/Montco county looking for? What sort of shoot would bring folks out?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How about Action Pistol, Steel Challenge, and Service Pistol like they have at Langhorne Rod & Gun Club?

Hey Fred hope to see you soon--
A few things that would be nice.
1) Appleseed (only heard good things about the program?)
2) USPSA
Either way, BCFG is a great club, look forward to better weather!

Re: Bucks county Fish and game Assoc.
There is a proposal before the board to run 3 gun matches. The issue is how to do it with our unique range limitations, which is any kind of bouncing bullet out of the target butt area very problematic.
If we do attempt these matches this year, they will likely have movement but no fire and movement, because of the possibility of folks putting a bullet into the baffles. That is the loading would be once you get in position to shoot.

Re: Bucks county Fish and game Assoc.
Can someone let me know how to join this club? I have tried contacting through email regarding membership a couple of times and have never gotten a response back.
Membership Information membership@bcfg.org
The website is being updated I guess and there is no info on new membership that I could find.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Carl

Re: Bucks county Fish and game Assoc.
Have any members of BCF&G been there recently? I want to find out if the rifle and pistol ranges have been reopened. I don't want to drive there again to find out it is closed.
No luck with email and the phone is not answered. Website has been down for maintenance for awhile.
Thanks.
