Classes
Are there any schools or places classes are given in the area on personal protection using a firearm ? I have my LTC and have taken a NRA basic pistol class as well at the Utah LTC permit class, but I need to go further. I see there is a school up around the Erie area, but their basic classes are few and far between.

Re: Classes
John is awesome. I've taken a bunch of his classes.
Also Protective Shooting Concepts teaches out there. I took Jay's AK class and it was money well spent. In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796

Re: Classes
If you are looking for more NRA and NRA-like classes Millvale Sportsmens (Wexford) hosts a number of open-to-the-public classes throughout the year. I believe NSSA in Warrendale does the same.

I think there is also an Appleseed shoot done at Beaver Valley. Great class for the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship with some history lessons tossed in.

I do PPITH and PPOTH up in Mercer, if you're looking to continue with the NRA training. Shoot me a PM if interested.
