    Default Range suggestions

Need suggestions on a place to shoot in York County or near by, I had joined Freedom Armory when we first moved here for about a month and a half but ended up cancelling my membership there (long story). Looking for a place that has a pistol range that allows you to draw out of a holster, and also a rifle range, doesnt matter to me if its indoor or outdoor for either. I live in N. Codorus just north of Seven Valleys and was hoping to find something within a 30 minute drive, anyone have any suggestions?

I shoot at Windsor F&G as well. It's a nice, small range. In the middle of some construction but overall decent.

cham09 - next Windsor Fish & Game Association meeting is January 5th, 2015. Jump over (and download) the related WF&GA Membership Related (PDF) Forms. The way it normally works is show up at 7PM - announce you are interested in joining - the clubs Membership Coordinator will take all interested members down the the range for a Range Orientation - attend the meeting right afterwards - get voted in and leave as a Member all in one night!

Sounds good I'll definitely try to make it to the meeting if I can switch my shift at work that week. Thanks!

What are the dues like there? Also, do they give you a tour to check the facility out before the meeting before you join? I'm shooting to make the March meeting, unfortunately cause of work I couldnt make it to this months or the upcoming February one.

Absolutely no pressure to join. When you pull in and park - one side you will see the Pistol and Rifle Range and the other side you will see the Archery Range, Club House, etc. Everyone is friendly and will be happy to answer any of your questions before and during (if you stay) the meeting. Jump over to Windsor Fish & Game Association and select Membership (from the menu) and download the Membership Application - that form outlines the different memberships available and all related costs. They do have a one-time Membership Initiation Fee - after that - just yearly dues.
