if you need 380 brass to have reloaded, let me know. I provably have 500 or so sitting in a box from when I sort out what I reload.

Probably true - the US military and many US police departments use huge quantities of 9mm Parabellum. Overseas the 9mm Parabellum is probably the world's most popular handgun round for military and police forces. Even the Russians are now using this round.

When you got a world market using 9mm Parabellum there is going to be a lot of competitors in the US ammunition market.

The 380 ACP is a "civilian" round. The economy of scale compared to a 9mm just won't be there. So manufacturers can drive up the price per round.

Just another reason why 380 sucks is the cost of it.

Yeah, I haven't bought any in about 5-6 years.
I nearly shitted myselfs when I decided to go get more recently. (and didn't get any)

.32ACP is even worse if I recall. I think it was like $30/50 rds at Wmart!
May be time to sell the Kel-Tec...

Wow, multiple options for less expensive ammo! Thanks for the tips.

How is the quality of the Freedom reloaded ammo? Anyone had any problems with it?

I bought a case of 9mm last year, but haven't shot any yet, so I don't have firsthand experience, but I can tell you that if there were "issues" we would hear about it every time someone suggested buying their ammo - and people suggest them on here pretty frequently, and I've never seen anyone being chastised for doing so, so I'm guessing they are good to go.

I think I Googled reviews of them before I ordered and the feedback was mostly positive.

I have put more then 2k rounds of their 9mm (reloads) through my M&P without issue. I buy from them regularly.

I can easily buy 50 round boxes of 9mm ammo in well known brands for $13-$16 per box, but it is nearly impossible to find .380 ammo below $22 a box.

During a recent trip to Sportsmans Supply in Butler, PA, their CCI Blazer .380 aluminum case ammo on the shelf was only $1 higher than an off brand that their employee claimed was once fired range brass that has been factory reloaded, which would never go in my gun, who knows what damage the shell cases may have had. And that was still $22 a box!

Best deals I have recently found was Winchester FMJ flat nose 95 grain at WAL-MART for $40 a 100 count Value Pack box (and I am a Wal-Mart hater, so it was hard for me to give them money even for this), and a dealer on gunbroker got me a 300 round battle pack of PMC 90 grain FMJ for $123 plus shipping.
Sportsmansguide has several fmj for around 15 a box, free shipping right now. I like the Fiocchi, also tried the GECO, and it shot well. Decent price on the Hornady Critical Defense too. Sportsmansguide has a better selection
of .380 than any brick and mortar or online shop I've seen in the last two years.

I have been reloading 0.25, 0.32, 0.380 and 9 Mak for many years, just keeping some commercial ammo for "serious social events!" Trying to feed 2 x 0.25s, 7 x 0.32s, 6 x 0.380 and 5 x 9 MAKs would have broken the bank many years ago, to say nothing of other odd balls (30 Mauser, 30 Nagant, 32-20, 38 S&W and 0.455). Best investment is a reloading press or five plus heads and cases. Dave_n
