Default Mid buck season strategy (Mixing it up)?

Spent 32 hours in the field this week and nothing with horns, still have corn standing, and while I have been still hunting some of the tractors lanes, I still come out to find tracks over my tracks.. I have been averaging 6 doe a day in three different areas I hunt, I believe some of them to be the same ones in the same areas I target.
So I am thinking about stalking the corn rows, not sure if I should do it tomorrow and risk chasing something out to a weekender, or waiting until Monday. Kind of tossing the idea of my 44 super redhawk with 7.5 barrel and scope, or just grabbing the 500 with 18" smoothbore and slugs for a quick shot scenario..
I guess seeing them is a good thing, but nothing with horns, Tuesday when the sun came up and I was in my spot, I had two laying down to the right of me, and two laying down to the left of me.. I think that area holds promise as its private land with little pressure, and they don't seem as sketchy as the ones I have been seeing elsewhere..

Not sure if it's changing strategy but I do mix it up. The first day, I was up in a tree with a crossbow in my back yard. Wed/ Thurs I was out hanging onto a .300 WinMag. Saw more doe and a small buck in the back yard although when it was too dark to really shoot.
The rifle area seems a bit void of deer ( may be because it was mid week, no other hunters etc etc). Tomorrow is supposed to be rain all day.
If I go out, it'll be back to my tree stand with the cross bow.

Mon is supposed to be OK , weather wise but I may hunt out the week in the tree.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.
