Re: All things AR-15 and variants from newbie to advanced. Find answers here.
So I am building my first AR. This will be the first I have ever owned, except a MP 15-22 that I never did much with except shoot a little.
I built the lower myself. Ended up ordering a complete PSA Upper (Got a good price and didn't feel like taking the time to build one).
By question is about the adjustable stock.
It will only adjust to the three shortest positions. When putting it on, it slides right past the first three holes then locks in after the third.
I have this for the stock - Magpul MOE Carbine Stock - MIL-SPEC
https://magpul.com/firearm-accessori...obal_color=118
And
MOEŽ Carbine Stock * Mil-Spec
https://magpul.com/firearm-accessori...obal_color=118
Any idea what the issue is?

Anyone have a chart showing the measurements (placement not hole size) of the trigger, hammer and safety selector holes?
My current build is being a pain in the butt despite using a jig. I measured the holes from a previous working build and re-drilled the holes after JB welding but the trigger still won't move at all when installed. Something may be off...could be that I just need to mill the pocket deeper.
Using an Anderson lower in an 80% Arms jig, wonder if that's an issue.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

PERFECT EXPLANATION of "pistols", "rifles", "others",
and what you can and can not do with stripped or assembled AR15 LOWERS
EDIT: ALMOST perfect. I do believe the FFL gives bad info at the end during the summary (starting at 10:32) when he says that you can take a rifle that started as a rifle, and turn it into a pistol. I have never ever heard this being described as legal.
EDIT #2 NOW it shows up as "This Video is Private"
I wonder if they are editing to correct it?
Can I build a _______ using a _______ ???

Re: AR Building, Accurizing, Tips & Tricks
I found that this Kynshot recoil buffer works really well at reducing the recoil motion and allows me to stay on target with very little movement of the gun. I built a 50 Beowulf for hog hunting and also 22 Nosler where I used this buffer and it made a such significant improvement in both guns that I bought one for my 5.56 too. I hope this helps others that may be looking for a product like this one. It is not a cheap product listing for $129 at Midway but I have zero regrets.
