I may have been looking at those Arisakas and Carcanos. Sorry if it was you, I did just look and didn't buy. Have been meaning to pick one up for awhile but didn't know enough then to feel comfortable buying.

I go almost every time. I have perhaps bought more non gun items than anything. God knows there are enough tables with the same handguns row after row. What is wrong with couple of vendors selling magnifying glasses and heat packs!

Is the price $10 or is it moving up to $12 since it's the 1500 table show?

For better or worse , the promoter (Eagle Arms) needs to sell tables to cover expo rental.

Yeah , there's lots of crap , but given time/work invested , table and hotel fees , someone must be buying that crap or it wouldn't pay those hucksters to set up.

Vendors wouldn't be there if they were not making money.

I would think about 20,000 people go to the show. That is 200k in admission fees. Add $70/table--remember not $70 per vendor--some vendors have 20 "tables"--think about that guy that brings all those movies. He must spend a thousand dollars just for the space he occupies. But, overall a 1,000 table show would generate $70k right there.

A quarter million dollar weekend easy. They can leave the massage people out. Maybe I'll count the non-gun vendors this time around. Might be easier to just count the gun vendors.

And do people really buy so many over-the-top classy 'suck my glock' t-shirts that there are multiple t-shirt vendors that sell them?

It's a deterrent. People see you have that shirt assume you are armed and then don't rob you.
