Doing most of my growing up in Georgetown (Wilkes-Barre Twp) my friends and I used to watch this race all the time. I've been trying to get back to watch it for years, but it always seems like crap pops up keeping me from going.

They don't advertise it very well. You hear more about it the day after. I sit at the devils elbow when I go.

I agree. Which is why usually end up missing it. Lots of locals sit at the Elbow, but my friends and I used to sit just below it where the water tanks used to be. One of the best spots I liked was at the "S" turns. There was a small clearing on one of the cliffs right near the little pull off. Several people used to hike up there and sit. I don't know if they still allow them too sit there any more.

I think I have a bunch of 35mm photos from there. Might try to scan and post a few.

I drive the black #341 Mach 1 that lost it and recovered in the Elbow. I am looking for pictures and more importantly, video of that 'oops'. Anyone that can post them and send me a link would be greatly appreciated. I was trying a different line and it didn't work. Hahaha. Some scratches and a broken rim is what I luckily, got away with. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

Hope to be back next year. WON'T be doing that again. Sorry, hehe.

Um, well........the vast majority of the people at the Elbow have their hands full......usually with 12oz of something! LOL

Finding one with a camera or video equipment isn't going to be easy!

Best time, I think, was like 45. Maybe a bit less. I am waiting for the results to be posted which will more than likely be at the end of the week so I'll let you know. The Danko Lola had some mechanical issues so he wasn't able to beat the record. Maybe next year. My best was a 51.7xx.
