Default "LOCATION" Requirement in Classified Ammo Headline

    "Ten Boxes 9mm FMJ CHEAP!"

    (click)

Oh, it's a 2 hour drive. Just like the last 16 ammo ads I've clicked on!

Would it BE so hard to include your location so as to not waste people's time?
Nobody's gonna mail ammo - that's pretty much a given, so save us all some time and let us know if it's an ad worth clicking on.

I realize making it a requirement is unlikely to happen, but maybe a couple of people will see this and say "Heh. Never thought of that before" and do so the next time they post some ammo for sale.

I really hate that time between grass cutting and snow shoveling season.

I'm so bored and it's only been 2 weeks.
If we ever get another day or two without snow or rain you'll get a short break from me.

DanP is the only one that can make official rules, however I add a sticky post to the 3 major selling sections.

How about a sticky regarding "firm" prices. It says firm and nonnegotiable the move along. I can't tell you how many people have messaged me asking me if that is the best price yes it's the best price it's firm.

The next time you are asked "is $XXX the best price you can do?", reply back adding $100.

"Is $600 the best you can do?"

    "No, $750 is better".

My daughter learned at an early age the value of knowing when I was getting annoyed at the constant teen attempts to negotiate. If she pushed until I got annoyed the curfew, amount of money I would give her for an event, etc... would be adjusted and the adjustments would not be in her favor.

The rules only require for the seller to list a price, or items of interest for trades.

Wheel'n and deal'n is a common tradition with guns, just like it is with cars. So long as OBO isn't overly advertised, what happens privately isn't against the rules.

By no means is it against the rules for a buyer to make a bid privately. And like at a gunshop or car dealership, if you don't like what was offered, you as the seller can turn it down.

I have done that before, but as of recent I try and be as polite as possible lol.

What about personal attacks or threats?
I get the rest of your post, makes sense. It can just get a little annoying when the same person messages me more than twice asking if that's the best I can do.

    Sorry for the hijack.

Unfortunately too many folks don't include a price.
