Default The Sportsman's Shop is moving.

From the Facebook page of The Sportsman's Shop. This could be pretty good for Lancaster and western Chester county shooters.
We are thrilled to share the news that we are moving & expanding!:

    To our valued customers:

We are pleased to announce that we have recently completed the purchase of the former Blue Ball Lanes located at 1214 Main Street in Blue Ball, PA!

In the spring of 2015 we're planning on relocating and will be repurposing the 25,000 square foot building to accommodate our growing business. As a locally owned and operated business since 1954, we look forward to many more years of serving you with the best hunting, fishing and shooting sports equipment available.

This move is in response to multiple customer requests for an indoor range and additional firearm training opportunities. The Sportsman’s Shop remains committed to you – our customer and our promise to you that we will remain your friendly and knowledgeable experts in hunting, shooting and outdoors.

To receive updates on the progress of the project, please follow us on Facebook. We look forward to your feedback. Please share this message with your shooting friends and those who may want to follow the progress of this project. Thank you for your continued support of The Sportsman’s Shop and we look forward to continuing to serve you.

    Sincerely,

    Joe & Kathy Keffer, Owners

I've heard rumors about that for awhile. Can't wait to see how much more "healthy" their mark up is going to get.

Oh great, now they're even further away.

Someone needs to contact the owners of the Sportsman Shop to buy these and sell them in their new location: http://lancaster.craigslist.org/spo/4770732859.html

I note they plan to have indoor range. I suspect indoor ranges are the wave of the future with more shooters, caps on gun club memberships and growing pressures on existing outdoor ranges.

All the more reason for them to keep those bowling pins at the new place.

Anyone know if they haggle? I'm a handgun guy and they are about $100 higher than everyone else. I like the store and the layout. I'll probably use the range. I tried to make a deal on a used Glock years ago and they wouldn't budge.
