Default Good place to teach teen how to drive?

Looking for good parking lot or low traffic area that’s good for teaching teen girl how to drive. I taught teen boy how to drive on the rode behind airport and cargo city parking lots. But with this young lady I would like to take my time and find less stressful area. Can you suggest anything in Delaware County?

I started my kids out at a local, large industrial park. The weekends have very little traffic and the streets are generally pretty wide.
The question is, will you be on your feet or your knees?

Depending upon when you are doing it, the parking lot at Delaware County Community College or a lot of school parking lots depending where in Delco you are located.

btw… if you are looking for less stressful roads, try the back roads in the Glen Mills area by the Glen Mills School. A lot less stop signs and traffic than many other parts of Delaware County.

I've been using the local high school on the weekends.

I don't think that would be good for a new driver, Glen Mills is hilly and has a lot of winding roads. In the general area though, the Granite Run Mall is nearly a ghost town now and the parking lot has a wrap around road with lines on the road and stop signs and turns. Be a good place to get a feel if the driver can stay on the road without worry about going off it.

Although it's been just about a year since my youngest passed their drivers test, my recollection is that a learners permit is not valid out of state.

I'd suggest parking lots of schools and churches. Office park complexes have roads seldom traveled on weekends
