Delco Walmart that sells firearms?

I work in Delco and hope to be buying a house next year. One of the walmarts by my job sells ammo but no firearms. I know it's more common for the walmarts in western Pa to carry firearms but any in the Delco region that happen to carry any?

No delco walmart sells firearms. One Walmart in the region (Parksburg) in chester county on the Lanc. County Line sells firearms. Walmart will not sell guns in any of their stores which is close to an urban area. Even the super walmart by RT 30 and the Lancaster bypass does not sell guns due to its close distance from Lancaster. The Philly wallyworlds do not even sell ammo. Needless to say, there is no ammo in the Jersey stores.

Thanks for the informative post and now I know it won't be worth the trek for a Black Friday sale haha. I did know the ammo thing was a suggestion Philly made to the walmarts which they agreed to. Actually up until around 2009 I was still able to buy ammo at the franklin mills walmart. Yeah jersey you can forget even getting ammo unless you wanna deal with buying a firearms ID card and no dangerous hollow points.

I have bought Firearms from Wal Mart out in Hanover, Pa. And probably will again on Friday as all in stock Firearms are 20% off. It stinks that they dont sell Firearms in all Wal Marts.

There are a couple of Walmarts in Bucks County that are selling firearms now. Hopefully it will make its way to Delco.

The nearest one I know that sells long guns is Pottstown on Route 100 just off of Route 422
Depending on where you are in Delco that might be an OK drive.

Thanks for the replies. I live in south Philly right now and it doesn't seem worth driving about an hour to the Pottstown wm. Bucks maybe an option, which one by chance? I am familiar w the two around Bristol.

I'm not familiar with them. The only gun shops I've been too are SPAG, old colisimos, and Delia's.
