Posted or not, you cannot hunt someone else's property without written permission.

You should be able to track down the owner using this website, or call the recorder of deeds and ask for assistance.

Oh, stop at a sporting goods store, or Walmart and grab a copy of this years hunting digest. It is free and has all the rules in it.

I always get the Pennsylvania Hunting & Trapping Digest for the current year.

Many moons ago, a Deputy Game Protector gave me a copy of the complete Game Laws.

If nothing has changed, believe me, what you received when you purchased your license is a SUMMARY ! ! !

If they are available, try to get a Complete Copy. It may be on-line, but at my age I may not get to the end, reading it.

As others have said, get the Digest.

Marsh Creek has a map of exactly where you can hunt on its website http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/cs/group...cnr_003692.pdf

The guy at Gordon's is a good source of local hunting information.

    Good hunting.

WCO's have the same requirements whenit comes to warrants as all other L.E. in Pennsylvania.

Section 901 lists the Powers and duties of enforcement officers. They do need a warrant to search a building.

I previously blogged that Corbett signed a bill that will allow GCOs, WLCOs, and WCOs to wear body cameras.

I have a few more hunting related blogs coming up that I'll be posting that may be of interest to you guys.

What is a GCO and a WLCO? the PGC only has WCO's.

WCO is referring to the Waterways Conservation Officers.

WLCO is referring to the Wildlife Conservation Officer

GCO is referring to the "Game Commission Officers". They are defined in section 102.

“Officer.” Any Game Commission officer or deputy Game Commission officer appointed by the commission or any other person with law enforcement powers who is designated by the director to enforce this title.
