300+ Yard Ranges

I'm looking for a range that is longer then 300 yards. I live in Mechanicsburg the closer the better. I don't mind if I have to join a club, I'll go to a couple open shoots and make some friends.

There is a game land range out your way with 300 yds. Out towards Carlisle I think. Not close but New Holland R&P has out to 600, about an hour away though from Mech.
Palmyra has out to 200 as well as does York Riflemen.

Hard to find over 100 close by.

I saw New Holland Rifle & Pistol just managed to extend the range out to 700. HOWEVER, they just this year capped their membership, so get in on the waiting list NOW so when the guys who forget to renew for 2015 get dropped you have a chance of getting in.

About equal distance away from you is Mifflin County Sportsmen's in Lewistown, and their range goes out to 1,000 yards.

Next closest is probably Reade Range, but its about 2 1/2 hours away and much more competition-oriented to get into. That one is also 1,000 yards, and I think its nicer than Mifflin County's range because it doesn't go up a mountain.

Keystone Fish and Game has a 300 yard range, i was hitting the big steel square out at 200 yards with my winchester model 70 super shadow back in 2007,i havent been there since 2009 so i dont know if its still there.

Johnstown 500yds plus. Don't remember the name my son belongs.

I'm not a member there, but Mifflin County Sportsmen's Association has a recently updated 1,000 yard rifle range.
