First time out with Tikka T3
I bought my Tikka T3 in 308 a few months ago, but yesterday was my first time out with the rifle. If you never handled a Tikka...you are missing out on an incredible rifle. The action on a Tikka is the best action on a stock rifle. Tikka's must also shoot MOA before it leaves the factory in Finland. Back to the range session...I was using some 180 grain ammo that I had to sight in....the Remington Core Lok was "hot" compared to the Winchester 180 ammo that I had...once I dialed in the rifle...I broke out the good stuff...Black Hills 168 grain match ammo. I didn't do as well as I would have liked, but I was at the range for 3 hours. I will probably start to develope a load for the rifle.
