I indirectly know someone who works at the state. I just ran across an e-mail from him that I wanted to pass along. It is a Citation he was doing for an organization; their name? "Mary Your Baby Daddy"

Whereas Rev. Willie Jones, Pastor of Reclaim the Streets Ministries and Rev. Ron Tilley of Firm Foundation of Pennsylvania Inc. joined together in collaboration to present the families in Harrisburg, PA to partake in the first Marry Your Baby Daddy Day to be held on June 12, 2008 , and;

Whereas Marry Your Baby Daddy Day is an effort to address today’s 70% out – of- wedlock rate in our society and to strengthen two parent families in urban communities through marriage, and;

Whereas Marry Your Baby Daddy Day received national recognition from ABC 20/20, NBC Nightly News and CBS Early Morning Show, as well as other national/local radio and newspaper publicity, and;

Whereas Marry Your Baby Daddy Day will host 5 qualifying unwed couples with children from the Dauphin, Cumberland, & Perry Counties of Pennsylvania with an all expense paid wedding, and;

Whereas Marry Your Baby Daddy Day has donations from dress designers, vendors, wedding planners and others to make this day a special, memorable and successful event, and;

Whereas Rev. Willie Jones and Rev. Ron Tilley both have a passion for reaching out into the community and making a difference in areas of our society that need strengthening and address issues head on that are plaguing our communities, and;


Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus, Chaired by The Honorable Thaddeus Kirkland, Democratic State Representative from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, does offer this congratulatory citation to Rev. Willie Jones, Reclaim the Streets Ministries and Rev. Ron Tilley, Firm Foundations of Pennsylvania, Inc. for their continuous efforts in strengthening our families and communities, and offer this citation for hosting the area’s first Marry Your Baby Daddy Day, and;
