First year hunting, few questions

If you want to hunt in 3D you can look into the DMAP coupons available thru the DCNR.

Deer Management Assistance Program allows landowners [including the DCNR] to obtain coupons from the PGC that they issue free to licensed hunters. Check the SFL near your grandmothers for a DMAP [there are several in the Delaware State Forest] DMAP coupons are specific to an area & you get a map w/ the coupon.

Mail the coupon th H'burg w/ a $10.00 check & you have a site specific AL tag. These sell out in the middle of the state where the normal AL sell out quickly but in 3D they don't sell that many.

You can mail the DCNR office in Swiftwater ,following the instructions in your license booklet [need your backtag number anyway] and they will give them out in person after the 'unsold doe tag' date same as you can walk into Norristown or Doylestown and pick up un-used tags over the counter for your home area...

You have to find a farm to hunt on as well with the DMAP don't you or is this something different? DMAP is the Red Tag program right?

DMAP is different from the red tag. The PGC was pushing it on their web site each tile the announce the sold out anterless WMU's out west as an anternative. DCNR has alot of them available...specific to this or that section of SFL only.
