    Default Open Carry Weekend

So, I usually CC because it's more comfortable for me, however this weekend I had the idea of OC'ing. Only reason being I would like to spread awareness of our 2A right in a place it is not well known of (Philly). I plan to just do my usual routine of visiting a few stores with the misses (Walmart, target, petsmart/Petco, etc.) and have a few pamphlets with me from our site about people 2A right (a link to an updated version of the pamphlet would be appreciated)
That being said... opinions, tips, or just anything I should know before I embark on my mission tomorrow morning?

Edited to add: also, anyone know of any stores that have a policy against carrying? So i know where to steer clear of and where I don't have to worry.

I would suggest you put your wallet or at least your drivers license and LTCF in a front shirt pocket so that if/when you are harassed by the PPD you do not need to reach for your back pocket.

Otherwise, hold your head up high and carry on.

Very wise idea, hell I may even get one of those cool necklaces to hold my ID and such just so they can see I'm not "reaching for another gun"

I see what position Remington is coming from and I completely agree. Try a lanyard!

I may. I don't own a wallet so it will at least help keep me a bit more organized

I love the lanyard or necklace idea, but for Pete's sake...no wallet? Must be a generational thing. How do you carry personal effects? I have all kinds of goodies I need frequently and can't imagine NOT carrying something to keep it together. A wallet IS oganization. Like the lack of wrist watches these days cause everybody has a cell phone. I race my Daughter on time checks all the time, and win! She's trying to rip her phone from her pocket and turn it on and I roll my wrist. Done! Why do we have to re-invent the wheel? Still round. Each to his own, I guess. I don't get it.

Don't worry I'm soon to be 24 and have a wallet and a wrist watch. There is still hope

Good idea on the Neck thingie for the LTCF.

    Take a voice recorder too?

Regarding watches, I got a cell phone in 2000. I quit wearing a watch in 2000.
    Not a coincidence. Hate watches.

Between cell, knife, wallet, flashlight, carry gun du jour, and wedding ring- I'm carrying enough crap.

I have to agree with the voice recorder. Just ask Viper how his has come in handy and few times.

An umbrella would certainly be appropriate.....
