Default I got a new toy, Kahr CM9

So there she is, still all pretty, kinda. Took her out the other weekend to throw some rounds through her. Got to say so far I really like it. I'm waiting on some grip extenders, it's just to small of a grip for my hands without them and a new ankle holster. I had a choice between this or a Sig938.

I'm curious about the 200 rounds to break in and the why.

Once the holster comes in (on truck for delivery) the nasty keltec 32 is going bye bye forever....I HATE that gun.

Nice. A friend of mine carries this and so does his wife. Both of them are thrilled with the CM9.

    Congrats on the new purchase!

Most guns have a "break-in" period if a spring is a major component of operation. Springs are initially overly strong, but "set in" after working them a little. And burs and such wear down to a more "polished" state for a smoother operation.

People often make the mistake of assuming a gun is bad or problematic if it doesn't function 100% right out of the box.

Congrats - I really enjoy my Kahr's. Only downside is their 'break in' period. Although all guns have a break in time, I find Kahr's actually have some minor issues during break in where Glocks, Rugers and many others run like a champ from round one. Just my opinion. Anywho, nice purchase!

I have one, zero issues through the first 300+ rnds. Only thing I don't like is the long trigger pull and reset, takes some getting use to but so far so good.

I have one, I love it. I added a Hogue Handall Jr. No issues.

Oh, Congratulations. I trust you will be pleased with your CM9.

Amazing pistol. Mine has been flawless.

Between that and the 938 I would take the Kahr EVERY day. I've never owned a 938 but I've shot two and both had issues.

    Congrats on the purchase.

I'm pretty happy with it. I might have to look at some full sized Kahrs. I'm carrying a PX4 Storm now as my everyday carry and I really like the grip width on it. Damn hands are bigger than most, but I guess I shouldn't complain, how would little girly hands look on someone that's 5'10".

Holster wasn't in delivery hopefully today it will show up.

What's really nice is we can now shoot in the backyard again and not have to worry about the swarm of cops descending upon us afterward.
