2014 Rut report Thread
Well you know what to do. This thread you don't even have to hunt to have a report. Deer chasing in front of car or whatever. There is thT one day when they go nuts. Ok boys what is the dealy yo. Real hunting starts at Halloween but pre rut hunts can be great also. So what are you seeing?
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Re: 2014 Rut report Thread
Looks to me that things are picking up. Sucks that's it's going to be so warm the next couple days, but it looks good for the end of the week.
Funny I was telling someone a coupe weeks ago to try and take off anywhere from 10-30 to 11-3 or 4. It seems to be a good generic peak time line.FUCK BIDEN

Re: 2014 Rut report Thread
I usually don't get excited until after Halloween when I head to camp as I hunt Does locally. I haven't seen any chasing yet but I have been seeing a lot more smaller bucks which means they have started traveling.

Re: 2014 Rut report Thread
Watched what started out as 4 does at about 5pm on Saturday. About an hour later, we were up to 16. Watched them for a total of 2 hours, not a single buck in sight. I think we are getting close though. This was in Lehman Twp, PA.

Re: 2014 Rut report Thread
I'm not seeing jack all year so far. I've seen three deer in about 8 trips out. That's hurrendous compared to normal. No scrapes, rubs, tracks, trails. Weird year so far. Not giving up hope yet.
