pennsylvania instant check help
I applied for my Ltcw they told me 2 weeks and I will hear something second week I call they said I was aprroved and they just put it in the mail waited all week for my card to come in the mail there was nothing called again and she said I was denied. That's comeing from my butler country sheriffs office she said I should be getting the challenge and all that but that's been a week ago and it's getting close to the 30 day challenge so basically was wanting to see if someone could tell me how I could get ahold of pic to figure out what's going on or if someone could tell me what I should do

Sadly I don't think there is a lot you can do until you get the denial letter and have a chance to read it.

Butler denied?
That has to be a first!
I got mine in 10 minutes, and that was only because I talked about the "Got milk" poster on the wall for 5 minutes..
Mind you that was 4 years ago..Skeet is a sport where you are better to hit half of each bird then completely blast one and miss the other completely.

Ok, if the Sheriffs dept says you would be getting a challenge form, and you never did, it may be in your interest if you go down there and politely ask them where your form is.
They will probably tell you again that they cannot tell you anything, but since you are standing there, they might be able to give you a contact number at the State Police where you can get answers.
Calling on the phone could be anyone, also, it's easy to blow someone off on the phone.
It's different in person.
From here:

No personal information will be discussed by phone.

Read it carefully, remember that by signing it, you are saying everything you put down is the truth.
You do not want to lie on this form.
SELF CERTIFICATION
I hereby confirm that I have read ALL info
rmation contained in the Pennsylvania Instant
Check System Challenge, Form SP 4-197, carefully
and I certify that none of the prohibitions
which are listed within this form apply.
I understand that if I knowingly make any false st
atements herein, I am subject to penalties
prescribed by law. This certification/acknowledgmen
t is made subject to both the penalties of
Section 4904 of the Crimes Code
(18 Pa.C.S. § 4904, relating to unsworn falsification to
authorities), a misdemeanor of the third degr
ee, subject to not more than one year of
imprisonment and/or a fine not
exceeding $2,500; and the Uniform Firearms Act, which is a felony
of the third degree, subject to not more than
7 years imprisonment and/or
a fine not exceeding
$15,000.
I don't know what else to tell you, other than to contact a lawyer if you are unsure how to proceed.
I'm not a lawyer, I suggest you contact one or head down to the sheriffs office.
