Firearm Safety Lessons

I am interested in jumping into the world of firearms. I intend to eventually own and carry my own handgun, but wish to get to know things first.
I'm usually around the Trexlertown/Allentown area and wish to know if there were any ranges that had some basic firearm safety courses that would suit my needs.

Again, I just want to get comfortable with a handgun with safety and then try a few out to soon know what I am doing when I pick one out to purchase.

I know some of the basic rules and I've read up on handgun safety and all that, I just want some hands on experience. I just don't know any locations of any places that have classes.

I second this, just took an intro to handgun course there last month. $90 from 9am-3:30pm... highly recommended
