Missouri state Senator Jamilah Nasheed, a Democrat who was sponsored several anti-gun bills in her state, was arrested Monday night during a protest outside of the Ferguson Police Department. However, it what police officers found on her that is raising eyebrows.

Nasheed was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun and extra rounds of ammunition, according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson. She also refused to take a breathalyzer test after officers determined she smelled strongly of intoxicants, sources told KMOV-TV.


Nasheed claimed on Tuesday that she was not intoxicated at the time of her arrest and emphasized that she is a legal concealed carry permit holder.

Police arrested and charged the state senator with failure to obey lawful order of police and manner of walking in the roadway after she and other protesters refused to get out of the street.

On Tuesday morning, Nasheed said it was a symbolic arrest to send a message to the protesters that we can protest peacefully and that we must protest peacefully and that we want justice for Michael Brown.

St. Louis County police say a Missouri state senator has been arrested during a protest outside of the Ferguson police station.

Police say Sen. Jamilah Nasheed had a gun on her and refused to take a Breathalyzer test, reported KMOV.

Sgt. Brian Schellman tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Nasheed of St. Louis walked in the street on Monday night after police told her she couldn't protest there. He says Nasheed and an unidentified man were arrested after officers asked them multiple times to leave the street.

All kidding aside, these race baiters need to take their protests to the White House.

They can scream at Obama about importing "millions of guest workers" who will take jobs away from black youth. Lack of employment is the single biggest complaint of these kids. Obama isn't helping by pandering to a few hundred thousand "activists" and dozens of rich Corporations who want more H-1B visa holders and cheap Union free labor.

These people can also scream at Obama about raising the minimum wage. He and the Pelosi/Reid Congress did it. They can scream about Obama giving Police military equipment - military vehicles, machine guns, and sniper rifles.
