NEW KEYSTONEREPORT.COM/MAGELLAN STRATEGIES SURVEY: WOLF 49.1% CORBETT 42.2%
10/17/2014-- 1:40 PM
With election day only weeks away, York County businessman Tom Wolf (D) still leads Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R), but the race is narrowing.
According to a new Magellan Strategies BR survey commissioned by this Pennsylvania news website, KeystoneReport.com, Wolf holds a 7% lead over Corbett.
Corbett gains among GOP voters and rising unfavorable numbers for Wolf both contribute to these results.
Magellan Strategies' survey was conducted between October 13-14 among 1,131 likely Pennsylvania voters, with results weighted to reflect previous mid-term election cycles.
The Magellan Strategies survey was conducted via automated calls and has a margin of error of 2.9%.
An September 17-18 KeystoneReport.com / Magellan Strategies BR survey of likely Pennsylvania voters found Wolf leading Corbett by 9%.
A July 30-31 KeystoneReport.com / Magellan Strategies BR survey of likely Pennsylvania voters found Wolf leading Corbett by 12%.

Does Wolf really think that the President campaigning for him will help?

Re: NEW POLL: WOLF 49.1% CORBETT 42.2%
I do...reason? Obama voters that typically do not vote in midterms will make the difference if they get out. That's the main reason...the people that simply go out and vote (D) because Obama tells them to go out and vote.
Hopefully they'll forget when it comes time to vote...."I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson

Most of these polls are done by liberal/progressive media outlets, or political orgs. I don't believe them because they get the results they want which is to try to make it look like the Republican has no chance, so the R's stay home. Then the newspapers, and tv "news" stations keep repeating it as "news".

The woman running against my Republican State Rep has been filling my PO box with stuff to on how Heffley votes with Corbett 98% of the time......for which I am grateful. (Not for the paper propaganda, but for the 98% of the votes!)
...and they have a plan...

Population of Philly is 1.55 million
Population of PA is 12.77 million
I'm still not falling for these polls.
Corbett may very well lose, but these polls with their minuscule sampling are not telling the true story IMO.
If Corbett loses I don't think it will be by 7%.
Honestly, I think it will be a Corbett win by less than 1%.
