Basic Trauma First Aid Instructor - Oct 23-24, 2014 - Lancaster, PA

This course will certify you to teach the Rockwell Tactical Group Basic Trauma First-Aid class.

Firearms handling is an inherently dangerous activity. An accident can happen anytime at a range or elsewhere. You could be the first responder to an active shooter. We all need to have a basic understanding of trauma injuries and how to treat them. This is a HANDS-ON class. We will be teaching basic trauma management using the MARCH protocol as per USSOCOM military guidelines. Class will include hard copy and digital information hand-outs.

Day-1 will consist of classroom instruction. We will be pausing around noon for an hour lunch break. Lunch will NOT be provided. Feel free to bring your own, or there are numerous restaurants in the area.

Day-2 will consist of hands-on training in various scenarios and injury types. It will finish with both written and hands-on tests.
