Default Sig SP 2022 or CZ P07 duty?

Anyone have opinions on which way to go? I want a new range toy in 9mm. Will not be carried, not a home defense gun etc. Just something to take out and waste ammo/ teach new people to shoot on. No, I dont want a glock or Xd etc. I want something hammer fired SA/DA. My LGS doesnt stock a 2022, not sure about the CZ as I haven't inquired yet, also dont feel like driving all the way to Cabelas just to hold them.
You may find me dead in a ditch one day. But by God, I'll be lying in a pile of brass.

I have an ST 2022 in .40 S&W which I believe is the same dimensions as the 9mm version which you are welcome to try out. This was the first handgun I purchased and I don't think I will ever sell it. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the CZ. I am a member of Easton Fish and Game and have a guest pass. Pm me if you are interested.

Another plug for the SP2022. Great gun, never saw a bad review. I love mine. Love the SA/DA trigger. You can't go wrong for $400.

I'm a die hard CZ guy so obviously say the P07. That being said, I personally never cared for the Sig style decocker, but the SP2022 ( I owned one way back when..) does have a very nice trigger, but so does the P07. I think either would be a good choice, I just prefer CZ's. Good luck and post pics of what you get.

I have a 2340 police trade. Love it. No hiccups at all. Replaced all springs and the grips. Old dim night sights still work. Accurate too. Best dollars spent. 2022 I would think has to be the same. Carries well in my crossbreed so don't discount that use.

Go over the mountain to Dunkelberger's in Brodheadsville. They have 2022's.

Can't go wrong with a P07. Especially the '14 model.

Although if only range a P09 or a 75 Omega would be my first choice for around the same price.

A used FN FNX is also a decent contender.

If you really want bang for your buck a Sar K2P or B6P can't be beat for around $300.

You won't need to hold one before buying. It'll fit like a glove. Trust me. Same with any CZ.

I've never owned either nor have I ever shot either.

But on apperance alone I voted for the CZ. SIG's styling just isn't my cup of tea.

I have the PO7 9mm and I am partial to the CZ also a member at Easton Fish and Game you are welcome to try it out as well. I will say that the Sig SP2022 in 9mm is my favorite Sig with a decent trigger.
