    Default Sig P220 Match Elite

I was curious if any of you folks have any experience with the Match Elite. I am really doing this backwards as I already ordered one but it would be fun to hear if I went in the right direction or made a mistake!

Never owned a Sig before but I have shot a number of them. The ones I did shoot seemed well made with good fit and finish. I am always looking for an accurate pistol and the price seemed reasonable if it shoots as advertised. Link below to the specs on it. Any thoughts?

I don't think you can go wrong with any 220 series pistol and this should do well for you.

I don't have a Match Elite but I'm very fond of my P220. I'm even more fond of yours.
I really like Sig's short reset trigger. If this is your first Sig you made a great choice.
Of course we'll need to see pics when it arrives.

Whoops. I just repped wanneroo for your new Sig

You are going to love it. Sig really should call it the 220 long slide or something similar though. Throwing the word match in there is a bit misleading as there are no hand fitted parts, including barrel, in the gun. Its a production pistol all the way but thats not saying it wont out perform most users. Im fortunate enough to own both a standard 220R and 220R Elite. Either the "match" or carry version are next, whatever pops up first.

Thanks guys. I am looking forward to it getting here. For gun broker, I got what I thought was a very fair deal. The pistol is new in the box, 2 magazines for $1029 that included the shipping. It should be here by Thursday I am guessing. I will post some pics when I get it.

Pistol showed up today. It looks good and appears to be of good quality in fit and finish. Hope to shoot it soon, maybe tomorrow, and will follow up with a report,
