    Default Reciprocal carry with Viginia?

    Headed to my fathers funeral in Arlington soon, and curious if my PA concealed permit is recognized in Virginia? Naturally, I have to pass through Maryland and West Virginia, but I have to take my dog, and will be walking him in low lit areas around Arlington...

    You would also be good in West Virginia, Maryland is you're only problem state.

    I have know idea about Viginia, however.

    Ideas for legal transport of pistol through.. the Nazi state of Maryland?

    I do not have a lockable compartment in my car, so the separation of pistol and ammunition becomes the issue I believe?

    Put it unloaded in a lockable cases and stow it in spare tire well in your car.

    Since Arlington is very close to DC, be careful about crossing into DC with the gun loaded or while carrying.

    Drive as legal as you possibly can and don't make any stops. 81 takes you through Maryland for like all of 5 miles.
