In West Virginia I think its considered poor form to try and miss a free dinner.

It's not traditional to hit a deer with a car with more than 40hp. If you're using more than 40hp, you shouldn't be allowed to hit deer.

Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I am surprised by the PA number- since you cant use an automatic..

I know that was really bad.

BTW half the "I hit a deer and ran off the road" reports are on the way home from the pub.

In PA you can only hit it with a stickshift, not an auto.... and never in Sunday

My wife and I have lived in SE PA for 18 years now, we moved here from just over the border in DE. Neither of us hit a deer while living in DE, we've both hit or been hit, by 2 deer since we moved here.

I've also encountered loose cattle and loose horses on the road here, not to mention Amish buggies with one of the drivers asleep at the reins and weaving down the middle of the road!

If you had to hand make cock rings for 3/4's of the PAFOA membership (DON'T EVEN START!) you'd be sleepy too.

Is this about hunting or driving?

I've gotten one with my car...and only with my car.
