I believe your interpretation is basically correct considering the state laws previously cited but, as also pointed out elsewhere, your situation is not 'normally' encountered in the field. How it would be treated by LEOs and even the judicial system has an element of uncertainty.

So legal by definition of the law until I run into a cop having a bad day.

Or who doesn't understand the details of this particular area of the law book.

Ideally the cop would verify that your LTCF is valid through the PSP and that would be the end of it.

No so much as a bad day but the cop probably doesn't delve into the nuances of the statutes for unusual situations such as yours. Furthermore, should he contact the on-duty ADA for advice, I wouldn't guarantee that he would get counsel favorable to you - its easier to make the arrest and let the courts sort it out. Ideally he would verify that your LTCF is valid through the PSP and that would be the end of it.

Of late even the courts have been having difficulty staying true to the law as opposed to their personal agendas - one need only to read the 2013 McKown decision by the Pa Superior Court to see what can happen when justice takes a 2nd seat to the goals of activist jurists.

IMO you are legal but right and logic goes awry when you enter the "rabbit's hole" known as the justice (?) system. As such, one would be a remiss not to point out that there are associated risks.
