    Default Silencerco Shotgun Suppressor Review

Last Saturday I went to National Sporting Goods Shooting Expo. Got there late in the day but headed for Silencerco first. I tried out the Salvo 12, an Osprey 9 and a Saker 5.56.

The Salvo 12 is a BEAST. It's big and looks heavy but it isn't and the balance was quite nice on the Benelli they used as a host. Recoil was nil and just the simply fact shooting a shotgun without hearing protection was fantastic. It can be made shorter but I didn't see how it's done, and of course it gets louder the shorter you make it. Overall, 2 thumbs up and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one in the future.

Next was the Osprey 9 on a Glock and there's not much else to say about it, except it's pretty slick.

Finally I tried out a Saker 5.56 as I have a AAC 762SDN6 and have been looking at a dedicated 5.56 can. Worked as it was suppose to and doesn't have the extra weight on the end like my 762SDN6.

Before heading to the next vendor they had me enter my name to win a Saker 5.56 and guess what.... Monday I got the call that I had indeed won it. Got my papers today and they are awaiting Sheriffs approval.

Thought I'd share my experience with the Salvo and plug the Shooting Expo for future years. You never know what you can win!

Depending on what I hear, I will probably pick one up next year.

I'm in the same boat. I am planning on getting one down the road if the price goes down, I just can't see spending $1400 on one.

Thanks for the review, and congrats on winning a can!

I really want to get one of these, maybe next year, we'll see. SiCo makes some nice stuff.
