Escaping Kalifornia!
Hello fellow shooters. I am moving from the United Soviet Socialist Republic of Kalifornia to work in the Baltimore area. It seems like Maryland guns laws are almost as bad as CA! My question to the community is: Shooting and Firearms being a VERY important part of my life, do the restrictions in MD warrant the commute from PA? I am in socal so sitting in the car for 2 hours a day is no big deal. I am thinking the New Freedom area. I have grand fathered hi caps here in Cali. I have AR’s and AK’s with all the silly Cali stuff like bullet buttons, pinned stocks, etc. Pros and cons of the two states? Also, it looks like PA will honor my Utah CCW and issue me one of theirs without a problem. MD looks like CCW’s are almost as restricted as Los Angeles County. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks….AJ

Re: Escaping Kalifornia!
When talking about anti state I would mention California and Maryland in the same sentence.
Pa is not in the same paragraph to me.
So if you want to move to a state that is as anti as California, Maryland is your choice. If you want a lot more freedom pa is a good choice imo.

You couldn't pay me enough to work in MD.
Just get a job in Pa. You won't make as much, but your quality of life will be better.FUCK BIDEN

Re: Escaping Kalifornia!
Think about this for a second... Both Texas and Florida are often mentioned as two of the best states for guns. ...well, PA's gun laws are better than either of those two overall.

Re: Escaping Kalifornia!
I wouldn't even consider MD. I escaped that commie shit hole 15 years ago, will never go back. Move to New Freedom and commute if necessary.

Re: Escaping Kalifornia!
Couple points.
1. Go to MDShooters.com and ask them. My guess is they will be MORE supportive of you going to PA because they hate their state. But ask anyway just to see the intensity of the replies.
2. Maryland has a rain tax
3. Depending on where you work in Baltimore your commute will probably be less than 2 hrs, probably closer to 1.
4. please move here ASAP and register to vote in time for the Nov. elections.Sic semper tyrannis
