Default Competition Guns, which one and why?

    Hi all,
So I've been shopping around for a nice but affordable competition pistol. So far, I think I've narrowed it down to the following:

    FNS-9 Long Slide
    M&P 9 Pro Series
    XDm 9

Which one would you pick and why? And I know there are those glock fanboys out there but let's for a second pretend they don't exist.

For IDPA, I would have recommended the CZ Accu-shadow, but because it is not part of CZ's standard production, it has been banned from use. You may want to consider the CZ 75 Tactical Sport, which was built and designed from the start for IPSC competition. Although it costs a little more, msrp is about $ 1300, it is an amazingly accurate and controllable high capacity pistol.

    IDPA is IDPGay.

M&P if you are not going with a g-lock.

You have a lot of options in that case. Go with what fits you best as all of those you listed are accurate enough for that.

Anyone have and info on the fns-9 long slide? Looks pretty comparable to the m&p but almost $100 cheaper on Buds...

I've owned an XDm9 and I would reccomend it to anyone. Great balance, Capacity, Recoil is nothing.
