LC9S
I picked this gun up last Saturday and just got a chance to take it to the range today for a short time today. I wanted to give a bit of feedback in case anyone is considering picking one up.
Initial impressions, I freaking love this gun.
I ran about 150-200 rounds through it today. I ran magazines of Remington FMJ, Remington hollowpoint, Federal, Lawman, and Blazerbrass through it without any problems.
The biggest difference between the lc9 and lc9s is the trigger. The lc9 is hammer fired, the lc9s is striker fired. The difference between the triggers was everything it was hyped to be for me. I found the lc9s to be much more accurate. With the lc9 I sometimes get into the habit of flinching a bit while firing because of the long trigger pull. I did not notice that at all today and most of my shots were on the pie plate.
The gun feels smoother while firing, looks nicer (it no longer has the chamber indicator that pops up, and feels good in my hand. Now that I've had a chance to fire it and get a feel for it, it is my new edc.
I was always okay with the lc9,(carried it for over two years) but can't say I loved it as a firearm. I can say that I already like the lc9s a lot better and see me carrying it for a long time.

Re: LC9S
Well I had ordered one on Monday for a great price, 321 shippes at cheaper than dirt. Today I got an email saying that they were out of stock at that location and they were refunding my money. Now I have to wait before my money is refunded before I can start looking again.

I got mine from grabagun for about $360 shipped. Buds also had them for about $355. Imo they are both reliable companies to do business with.

Re: LC9S
I was recently looking at the LCP/LC9 as a smaller option instead of carrying my p229 during summer, etc. Found LC9 with viridian laser for like $330 currently. Is the LC9s shipping with laser yet?
