Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
Criminals never happy with police. You just can't please them when you do your job. Like at all.
20 or so years ago, our precinct was ambushed twice in 2 weeks period. Both times with IED. We lost several officers wounded (including my driver) and 3/4 of our fleet destroyed. A young constable (it's a job title in goatfuckistany police, like detective or patrollman) peeked under my car in the exact moment, the second bomb went off.
It fucking sucks.Je suis déplorable

My prayers for the family of the slain trooper and for the quick recovery of the trooper that survived.

One trooper survived I think. He might know something.

Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
Statistically 1/3 of the U.S. adult population have some sort of "jailable" criminal record. That makes 1/3 of the adult population "criminals". With that number of people in the system these things are going to happen and increase in numbers over time. There are lots of people out there who have had bad interactions with the police and that number is increasing every day.
I've been saying it for awhile, the "us v. them" mentality is growing on both sides and the cops will lose because of the growing number of "criminals".
Not cop bashing, just stating my beliefs.

Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
Maybe because it has happened before,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Dorner.
I posted that when there was no info on the shooter. The shooting happened in a fairly remote area, so I assumed it was not some random drive by shooting like in NJ recently.
If you are going to speculate a motive with no info, a rogue trooper is just as possible as a revenge attack or terrorism. I tried to be as tactful as I could given the circumstances. If you didn't like my reply, too bad for you.
You can blame my handle on Mel Gibson, much more closer to the truth, Jenny. Beside better people than you have made the same mistake.
Already had someone make up for your neg.(a thanks to that person) Again too bad for you.

Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
Sadly there is no evidence one way or the other. The truth is it happens.
We had an officer walk into town hall and start shooting at the police chief. He escaped by jumping out a window. Here it turned out the the chief was sleeping with the officers wife.
In the end the police are just human.troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
It can't be denied that an overwhelming majority of workplace attacks are in fact employees or former employees of that workplace. Without evidence to the contrary I don't think it would be outside the realm of possibility that it was a cop or former cop.
I think the fact that lots of people hate cops increases the possibility that it was an outsider though.

Re: Troopers shot at Blooming Grove Barracks
I see your point. But I have reasons to believe, that law abiding citizen, that just had bad interaction with police, will either suck it up or will bring the wrongdoers to the court, in the manner, prescribed by Constitution.
Only in the extreme cases, when, say, police accidentally kills someone's loved one (and shrugged off their responsibility) I can see a (formerly) law abiding citizen goes for the blood, but I havent really seen that many cases of such. Hardly any.Je suis déplorable
