Good for you. can't tease you any more.

Pretty soon , you'll be posting these.

Buy some of this blue plastic practice ammo for the group shoots. It's 10 grain plastic bullets. About 18 cents a round IIRC.

    Congrats on a cool gun.

Oh crap! I just realized 27hand has a pansy pad on his! ^^^

That's the first one I ever saw and shot at a group shoot - the one I described earlier...

Are you telling me mine will be WORSE with that STEEL butt plate???!!! OH NOZE!!!

    LOL!!!

Speaking of - here's me shooting 27hand's FR8 several years back.
I think it's safe to say that the moment I knew I needed one of these was captured on film...

Yeah, I'm gonna say the date code on that pic is off a bit since it's usually not cold enough to wear jackets and have snow on the ground in August. I think the year is off by a few too maybe.

Question for those who own one:

Does your magazine floor plate open as they do on a standard Mauser?
I depress the button, but it doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't want to break it. Wasn't sure if the conversion altered this feature.

Without getting the rifle out, I believe it is a fixed floor plate. You will need to cycle the bolt to unload. Date is correct although formatted the way i write my dates. 8Feb09. At one time, we held our shoots on Sundays regardless of people complaining about Mothers day and such. That was my sweeties birthday . I eventually conformed and changed date format.

Nice find. If you find any thing that is in Spanish that you can't read, let me know and I will help in translating.

Haha! I stumbled on it by accident.
I'm pretty sure they stole that from a now defunct milsurp website because it looks EXACTLY like the photographic step-by-step instructions I used many years ago for my SKS that I found on the milsurp site. (which does not exist now)

Here. Poke around some. There's a shit-ton of info to be had there.

Here is a rare Emptymag photo of a firearm placed on surface that won't potentially damage it...

Is that sling the right one? Looks like the HK one on my CETME. In fact, that looks like the same flash hider and bayonet lug that's on my CETME. Hey, I think I want one now!

I can bring my CETME bayonet to the next shoot, it might slip right on.
