New Rifle- Well new for me.
I was able to go to JOE SMALLEY AUCTION CO. this evening. After waiting while crap loads of Baskets and clay pots and a 1924 FLIVVER, which sold for $200, were sold off.
They finally got to the firearms, Yea! But since I really could afford to blow $200 on a extra firearm I didn't need but wanted, I focused my attention on a Mosin–Nagant 91/30. I already have two, but you can never have too many Mosins
First one, Is my moddy one.
Second one was pretty beat but only $75 to maybe cut it down or something strange.,
This one had a good stock and matching numbers from 1942.(I like the WWII ones.) I think I was the only one there with a mosin tool to check the bolt and Firing pin. Looks good and barrel is clean. I thought I was going to get for $120 but an ass (local guy) bid me up to $160, which I thought was an OK price. Man those locals like to piss on people they don't know. Since I am not looking to resell I was OK with the price. No extras came with the Mosin. My plan is to keep it as it is and use it as an example of what the Russians made during WWII.
Well that was my Friday Night, Hope everyone's is going as well.
