Cerakote in Central PA
Are there any reputable shops offering it in the center of the state? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

There's a member on here, Xringshooter, that does it in State College I believe. Could be worth a PM to him.

Re: Cerakote in Central PA
I got an email response today with their hours and they said my idea sounds like a fun project. For a while now I have had this idea to get my LMT done to look like it's been buried in mud and rusted away. Mud brown, that dark rusty orange color, dirty, so on. I try to envision it but it's tough because I don't have a lot of pictures to go off of.
There's no places closer to you than Easton? And you're in Philly?

Re: Cerakote in Central PA
Be careful of shops that offer the "service", try to deal only with a shop that does it on site. Like Easton fire arms. You can get a better price and if there is any issues you can deal right with them and not a middle man who will make a cut and say oh its not that bad. Easton fire arms is gtg imo.

Yep. Ceracoated a G17 for me. Looks good and has held up well. I'll post a pic when I get home.....
It's Rons Gun Repai in Lemont, Pa. He runs his shop out of his basement and is a stand up guy….
FIrst image is when I brought it home and the second is after several hundred rounds (in and out of a Kydex holster)…...Last edited by FLICK; September 8th, 2014 at 11:58 AM. Reason: pics
