Phone call from Virginia
I received a phone call this AM from a phone number 703-291-9005 which I did not recognize so I didn't answer it. when I got home I mention it to my wife and she informed me that it's a number out of Virginia representing themselves as the NRA trying to sign up new members.
To my knowledge the NRA has never solicit membership over the phone.
Has any one else received this phone call?
Christian, conservative, law abiding, member of the NRA

Re: Phone call from Virginia
The NRA at one point harassed me every day with calls, so I declined to renew my membership.

Just tell the person that calls you that you prefer NOT to receive phone calls.
They will stop calling.
Also you can ask them to stop or to cut back paper mail. I get all my info from them via email now. I'd rather my contributions go to better use.

Re: Phone call from Virginia
Got a call about up'ing my membership with special pricing. Told them I wasn't interested and asked them to not call again in the future - haven't had another call (yet).

Re: Phone call from Virginia
I have also been getting many phone calls from the NRA. Several different numbers from several different states.
I do not answer and I am not dropping my membership but am getting pissed about it. I'll have to answer one of these days and tell them to stop.My Feedback - http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...ight=stainless

Don't drop you NRA membership. I hate a lot of their tactics too but I sure as hell want them on my team in the fight we are in. You love your guns as all of us do. Why would you not support the biggest organization who's only goal is to protect YOUR guns for YOU.
