Taurus TCP problem

So my new taurus tcp has a minor issue. Idk if I should have the factory fix it or ignore it. When I rack the slide, if I don't do it hard the slide kinda "sticks" there. If i rack the slide fast or push the slide forward there is no issue. I tried oiling it up which didn't help. I may be crazy but I thought i saw a spark in the chamber from the friction of the shell when i racked in a round. Idk if this is a normal problem.

You think you saw a spark when chambering a round? Check it again to see if you actually saw what you thought you saw.

I don't believe I have ever seen a SPARK when chambering a round in the five handguns I've owned thus far.

Did you clean it before you shot it?

You described a catastrophe, I hope you are wrong in what you think you saw. Strip it. Look for galling and or broken parts. Check all caming and sliding parts.

I've had my TCP for about a year and know that the slide really needs to be snapped back hard to chamber a round. Either that or I lock the slide back, insert a full magazine and then release the slide lock and the round chambers well.

Never recall seeing a spark though!
