Marines
How come were so worried about the Pa women?
You know the one who didn't know or care about the regulations?
But nothing said about the Marine who took a gun into Mexico.
He is still sitting in jail in Mexico.
As usual our government say and does nothing.

Re: Marines
And to answer your question, why not care about the woman? There are mistakes and then there are MISTAKES. what this woman is being put through and the way New Jersey is destroying her life does not fit the crime.
Yes we could all turn our heads and say "well ignorance of the law is no excuse" but to that I say "turning our heads and looking the other way when the government oversteps its bounds and turns on its own citizens needlessly does no one any good and will only lead to further abuses and more fear of the government by the people."Last edited by internet troll; August 14th, 2014 at 06:34 PM.

Re: Marines
A fundamental difference is that she intentionally went into NJ with a firearm, not knowing it was illegal. The Marine did NOT intentionally enter Mexico, he took a wrong turn and found himself at the border. He was directed to move up and then make a U-turn, and when he made the U-turn they arrested him.

Re: Marines
The woman was in the PRNJ, USA. We have a Constitution. Marine made a terrible mistake by crossing into MEXICO, no constitution. Send a letter to our fearless leader and ask why. I know that there are people out there working on it,but not from our government. Sad part is when he's released he faces military court.

Re: Marines
The Mexican government is trying to find a way to make this all go away and save face.
Tahmooressi's still in their prison and I feel bad for him. However, he is surely segregated in a private area with ALL the creature comforts he needs, (i.e., ice cream, tv, exercise time each day, etc...).
When he is released (and it will happen eventually) he'll go back and finish out his service commitment, do talk shows, write a book and all will be hunky dory.Last edited by JAKIII; August 15th, 2014 at 02:45 PM.

Re: Marines
Just heard the woman on Fox tonight. She stated the gun was in her purse and she had forgotten about it unroll she got stopped. She opened her handbag to get her license and then realized it was there. So she.informed the cop she was carrying and the madness then began And she also stated that she only had it for one week.
Relationships between men and women can be difficult - but not impossible.
