What they really don't see eye to eye is firearm ownership and constitutional rights
In case you don't know the clear difference over firearms

Re: 3 Governor debates coming up
What must be done is shaping the questions in terms of unobstructed individual right to protect individual life wherever threats to it may be. Questions need to allow for ZERO weaseling. Too often gun questions get worded as something that an anti gun politician can phrase squishy, vague, fence straddling responses to placate the public--that needs to NOT happen. Wolf needs to be forced to look like a completely reprehensible anti gun scumbag or say things like he's being forced to eat broken glass. Corbett needs to make strong, definitive answers as squarely a man of our people. Another one would be the right to keep one's paycheck that one works for rather than having it being stolen and given away.

According to Franklin and Marshal polling Wolf has won all three debates.

Re: 3 Governor debates coming up
If they stick to facts, Corbett should win. It's ALWAYS easy for the outsider to throw shit.
Even easier in low-info-Pennsyltucky - like that old bitty that called the talk show and said she was voting for Wolfie 'cause Corbett couldn't fix Highmark vs. UPMC.
Grandma; even Jeebus H. in sandals and bathrobe can't fix YOUR kind of stupid..All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: 3 Governor debates coming up
And there lies the issue with the people of most states and the nation in general. People believe that .GOV should come in on some magical white carriage and dump millions into solving a problem in the business sector.
Do I know the ins and outs of the HighMark vs. UPMC?? No, not even close.
They are both respected businesses. If the Boards and CEOs hate each other, then it is tough to work together on things.
.GOV cannot solve all the private business problems and they should not try.
Corbett needs to make two things clear.
1) Pro-Freedom
2) Pro-It is your money. Keep it.Last edited by gooseSA40; August 14th, 2014 at 07:58 AM.

+1 rep sent
Your post gave me a chuckle even though it's probably true.
Debates have gotten away from substance ever since Kennedy wore a dark suit and Nixon wore a grey one.
For that reason alone, Wolf has probably already been declared the winner of these debates.
Corbett needs a new PR/image department. No matter what he's saying, he seemingly comes across as an angry old man. He'll need to fix that if he's to "win" a debate regardless of the substance of the answers either candidate gives.

1st debate is on tonight.
If they stick to FACTS - Corbett may win as Wolfie will finally have to answer what he actually plans to do. No more huffing and puffing and blowing smoke up our asses. All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: 3 Governor debates coming up soon
I don't know why the mass media is pushing so hard for this Oblamo like communist to be the next governor. This BS with the gas drilling/fracking tax that the communist wants to impose is a prime example of the stupidity that plagues this country. They are here drilling and creating jobs because of the enticement of not being overtaxed and over regulated like some other states. Please, let's drive them out of the state so we can have more gim-me-dat section 8 types on the dole.
