Solvent Trap Adapters
Hopefully this hasn't been asked and answered, I did a search and nothing. So I understand that these can be purchased without any tax stamp, etc. because they are "solvent traps" used with an oil filter.
My question, is there a way to purchase one and submit/apply for a tax stamp in order to legally use it with an oil filter as a silencer?"Tastefully Pimptastic"

Re: Solvent Trap Adapters
if you want one your best bet is to buy a registered one. https://cadizgunworks.com/store/inde...&product_id=97
the solvent trap adapters differ from the "econo can" if you look closely, also the oilfilter needs serialed to the adapter so once its worn out it must be sent to a SOT to be replaced

Re: Solvent Trap Adapters
I like how Cadiz also sell just the solvent trap adapter sans filter. Of course it is only to be used as a solvent trap and not a sound suppressor.

this site seems pretty popular for gun cleaning accessories
they also offer options that can be purchased if you would like to legally turn the trap into a silencer but you will need to engrave a serial number and go through the proper atf formsMontani Semper Liberi
