Default Who messed with my mags?

I have some military surplus magazines for my Beretta 92. I don't shoot the 92 much and when using the mil surp mags I had problems feeding the last round which never occurred with the MecGar mags or the mags that came with the gun.

I noticed that the mag follower in the surplus mags sat a different angle than the other mags' followers. I was thinking I might need to get new followers from Beretta (if possible).

I dismantled the mags and found that someone had put the spring in backwards. Yes, there is a right and wrong orientation for a mag spring.

Put everything back together correctly and they work properly now.

Hey, at least you're smart enough to have checked the magazine before buying new ones.

I would assume it was the person that owned them before you. Unless you are the culprit.

It's nt that hard to do, as you said there is a to put the spring In wrong and the mag is almost ok but not quite. When I take mine apart I make a mental note of how it goes in, because I have assembled them wrong many times.

Maybe, it was the Dark Bearded One, and you just can't recall from days of yore.

I always blame someone else, too. Matter of fact, it's kinda my motto.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
